Since January 29th, the Washington State Guides Association has been actively communicating with Skamania County officials to address concerns surrounding the Drano Lake fishery and the closure of the Wind River boat launch.

We’re pleased to share that a meeting has been scheduled for February 25th. We look forward to sitting down with Skamania County leaders to discuss practical, balanced solutions.

Our goal is simple: find outcomes that support Skamania County, protect sport angler opportunity, and sustain the professional fishing guides who rely on these fisheries.

We remain committed to productive collaboration and believe that by working together, we can develop solutions that benefit everyone involved.
